Joe bought each of the boys a Nerf gun for Christmas. They have been planning a “Nerf war” ever since. Today was the day. They played their own version of capture the flag (Owen’s flags of course). Isaac and Truitt vs. Joe and Owen. I was feeding Elle during most of the action, but I managed to round up the troops for a group photo. They were pelting me with Nerf bullets the entire time. Joe and Owen were the official winners. However, everyone was awarded a prize . . . cookies all around!
Julie - I showed this to Luke . . . I said, “look how many boys they have in their family.” He got the funniest grin on his face and I knew that for a little bit he was wishing we had that many boys in our family.
And he wants one of those guns!
Andrea - Looks like they will enjoy those, David wants some but I have a feeling I’ll be the one getting shot at!
