Just for fun . . .

Photocopies.jpg

I was going through one of my desk drawers and came across these photocopies.  They are probably almost a year old, but I couldn’t help posting them.  Joe took the boys downtown to work with him one weekend.  Joe’s building has an INCREDIBLE view of Cincinnati’s riverfront.  The boys loved seeing dad’s “work”.  They brought home these fun souveniers from the copy machine.

Leaves!

Here are some pics of Nico and Owen playing in the leaves.  Justin was blowing them while the boys jumped in and buried themselves.  They had such a blast!

Four Days Old

Twins 2.jpgTrenton.jpgTwins.jpg

We had to stop and see the twins just one more time before heading home.  It’s amazing what a difference 48 hours makes!  The twins are tube-free and already looked different to me.  Emma is gaining weight and no longer looks like Trenton’s *little* sister.  I can’t wait to see them again in four weeks!  You know I’ll come home with lots more photos.

Brand-spankin’-new SPEELMANS!

Twins blog.jpg

Meet the two newest additions to the Speelman clan!  They were about four weeks early (very un-Speelman like).  Trenton was 4lbs. 6oz. and 19″ long and Emma was 3lbs. 15oz. and 16.5″ long.  After a quick trip to Akron Children’s Hospital both babies are doing very well- mom too!  They are even sweeter in person.

It’s official . . .

Crazy Boys.jpg

. . . it’s impossible to get a civilized photo of all three of my boys.  Of course I have to give them credit.  Today was a Eucharistic Sunday for Isaac which means the whole family (minus Joe who is in Cleveland) had to sit in the front row at church.  Isaac is preparing for first reconciliation (in December) and first Communion (in April).  The boys did SO well.  I was fully prepared to have to take Owen to the back of the church.  I gave the big boys strict instructions on behavior if I had to leave them and take Owen out.  All three of them were perfect little people.  Owen was a little restless, but hung right in there.  I took the above photos when we got home.  They were done sitting nicely- which i totally understand :).

Go Buckeyes!

OSU2.jpg

This post is dedicated to all of you Ohio State fans.  These are some pics from a game earlier in the season.  For any of you who don’t already know,  my brother and his wife, Lori, bought a full-size OSU passenger bus.  They now host tailgating parties for every home game.  Joe and Dave stopped off in Columbus on their way home yesterday to watch the big OSU v. Michigan game with Mike and Lori.  The bus is awesome- it’s the ideal place to tailgate and watch the games.  I’m hoping next year we can make it to more of them.  What a great game!  Go Bucks!

A November Evening

Nov.jpg

We’ve been so busy lately.  I haven’t had a chance to post.  I made a point to get outside last night and take some pics in between homework and a meeting at Isaac and Truitt’s school.  It was getting dark pretty quick.  Technically these pics are a disaster, but the subject matter was too cute to pass up :).

I Love Fall

Fall Owen.jpg

I think our “peak” Fall days are growing shorter in number.  There seem to be more leaves on the ground than in the trees.  I love this time of year so much.  Especially when the sky is so blue with the yellow, red and orange leaves against it.  I feel like I need to get out and enjoy every last drop.

More family photos . . .

Reis 1.jpgReis 2.jpg

Alright, I realize this is probably overkill, but I truly could not post any fewer pictures.  After I proof my pics I always go back and open all my favorites (which is usually 3 or 4) and decide what to post on the blog.  Believe it or not I’m posting the edited version of my favorites.  I had so much fun chasing this little cutie around!  This is another family from my school.  I’m so glad these families have been willing to be my guinea pigs.  Thanks Rob and Ali!

Family Photos . . .

xIMG_2459 copy.jpgGeorge.jpgIMG_2496 copy.jpg

I took family photos for one of the teachers at my school this morning.  Her daughters have all gone to the same sitter as my boys.  I had such a great time photographing girls for a change.  They are all such cuties! The whole family (including gradparents visiting from India)  was just wonderful.  Thanks for having me!
