The Kinasewitz Family

Kinasewitz.jpg

I just love photographing my friend Jodi and her family.  They are all so photogenic.  If you’ve been around I’m sure you will recognize them all- especially Abby, who is my little muse :).  She is such a doll!  They are also a family that has LOTS of fun together and it shows.

How insanely cool is this?!

I happened upon this incredibly cool site today where you can design your own pair of Keds!  Of course I had to drop everything and start designing mine that very instant :).  I didn’t actually purchase these.  I need to give a little more thought to my design- however $60 really isn’t too bad for one-of-a-kind cool shoes.  You can also design shoes using all the patterns and colors they have to offer without actually adding photos.  After I played around a bit with my design I did a screen capture to share my shoes with all of you.  If you are off of work this Monday I highly recommend *playing*.  Here’s the link:  http://www.zazzle.com/ (go to custom shoes then design your own).  Have Fun!

Owen Cam

What does a 3-year-old do when his pregnant mom is crashed on the couch after a looong week- take pictures of course, 463 pictures to be exact.  I gave Owen an old p+s while I attempted to rest after school this week.  He had a blast going around the house snapping away.  He had a few really interesting images.  This morning in the car he said, “When I get big I wanna take pictures just like you.”  That put a big ole’ smile on my face :).

*Home* for the weekend . . .

Reunion Weekend.jpg

We traveled to Shelby this weekend for my class reunion.  My sister flew in from Chicago to help my mom watch the crazy boys.  My brother and his wife are at a wedding in Toledo so Ivan is joining the ranks.  Here are a few pics from today.  All the boys are having so much fun together.  My boys are loving Ivan.  I think they would love having a little brother :).

Lola is ONE!

Lola is one.jpg

Can you believe Lola is ONE?!  It seems like just yesterday that I visited Dana in the hospital when Lola was born.  Check out Lola’s growth:  at the hospital, at home, 3 months, 6 months and 9 months.  She just keeps getter cuter and cuter!

Thanks Mitchells!

Mitchells.jpg

I wanted to say a quick thank you to the Mitchells for letting us invade their Fort Walton trip each year :).  This is our fourth trip to the beach with them.  It makes the trip so much more fun with them around- not to mention my boys (especially Owen) loooove to hang out at their condo (and ransack their snack cupboard).  Devin taught Owen a new song (”I Love Rock ‘n Roll” by Joan Jett) which he sings around 25 times a day.  Of course Devin’s payback was that Owen woke him up everyday with a squeeky dolphin.  Nancy, Tim and Devin also absorbed my boys into their family while Joe and I were at the hospital.  The boys never missed a beat, in fact when Nancy explained to Isaac that I had to go to the hospital he said, “Oh, can we go to the pool now?”.  Anyway, thanks Mitchells!  Next year you’re going to have to keep one or two of my kids all week- we will have officially outgrown our condo!

We’re Home!

Toesies.jpg

We arrived home safely last night at exactly 8:01pm- which is significant because we pulled out of our condo at exactly 8:01 am.  With the one hour time difference that makes our trip home exactly 11 hours- not too shabby.  Joe and I are always pretty impressed with how well our boys travel.  Aside from Owen asking if we were almost home before we even left Fort Walton’s city limits (and then asking the same thing about 1,000 more times), the boys all got along and kept busy the whole eleven hours.  After getting everything unpacked and put away, Joe got out the fire pit.  Tim and Nancy came over and we sat around and shot the breeze.  It was a great way to end the day.  Now I’m facing the reality of school starting on Tuesday.  I’m feeling pretty overwhelmed with all I have to do.  It looks like I will be waiting awhile to dig into my FWB photos.  It will be nice to re-visit the beach in the weeks to come :).

On our way home . . .

Family.jpg

We’ll be on the road all day today.  My first day of school is Tuesday which means that a-post-a-day officially ends on Monday :(.  Don’t worry I’ll still be posting quite a bit.  I’ll leave you with a family photo.  Thanks to Devin Mitchell we managed to get a shot of our whole family.  He did a great job!

Our Last Day :(

Last day.jpg

It’s been a very busy day- sorry for the late post!  I’ll have lots of photos to go through once I get home that’s for sure.  Here’s one from this afternoon.  I can’t believe today is already our last day at the beach!  “See” you when we’re back in Cincy!

Beautiful Day!

Thursday.jpg

Today was just about as perfect as it gets- blue skies and sun. We hit the beach and the pool today.  You may notice that Owen got a new flag.  It’s been permanently attached to his hand today :).  I love the first pic of the boys leaping into the pool and I also love the last one of Owen and his flag.
