Our house . . .

A typical scene at the Speelman household after school.  Elle playing with her fridge magnets and True on the floor by the heater doing homework.  Isaac and Owen were at the kitchen table doing homework and drawing pirate ships.  You can probably guess who was doing what :) .

Bacchanalian Society Winter Gathering

Becky and Suzanne roped me into going to a wine tasting downtown at Music Hall last night.  It was SO much fun!  Each team of three people brought three bottles of the same wine (the theme was Spanish Reds).  The bottles were bagged and numbered then the tasting began.  Everyone voted for their favorite and least favorite.  The winner (and loser) was announced at the end of the evening.  There were loads of people there, Music hall was gorgeous, the wine was good and the company was fabulous!  Can’t wait for the next gathering in May!

2009 Collage

I came across THIS free template over the weekend and decided to create a little mosaic of my favorite 2009 images.  I’m printing it 12×12″, framing it and hanging it in my living room.  I like the idea that you need to get up nice and close to see each little image.  I finished today and already ordered the print.  Yay!  If you are PS saavy (there is a template for PS Elements too) you should consider downloading the template and making your own collage!  It was super easy and FUN!  It would be fun to do this every year.

p.s.  Don’t forget to check in on the 300 miles blog . . . there’s a weird combo up today :)

“Little miss sis”

That’s what we call her.  She’s looking out the window at her biggest brother Isaac.  Elle always lights up when she sees her brothers.

Lovely Little Leah

When I arrived at Kim’s after school today I found little miss Leah all curled up.  She looked SO adorable!  I remembered that I had my camera in the van so I ran out to get it.  I just had to get a snap of this little sweetie.  Couldn’t you just eat her up!

Maggie

Maggie is nine months old!  It’s hard to believe . . . these girlies are growing up so fast.  This is Elle’s best friend (well, she will be once Elle and Maggie realize they can do more than just put toys in their mouth).

Big Brother

Elle loves all of her big brothers so much.  She wants to do everything that they are doing.  I have a feeling that will get her into some trouble in the future :) .
