The boys carved their pumpkins tonight, well Isaac did. Owen drew a face on his pumpkin and scooped one spoonful of guts out and left the rest to me. Truitt did a little better than last year. He drew his face on his pumpkin and then gagged (literally) through about four scoops of pumpkin guts. He finally had to leave the scene because he felt too “pukey”. Last year he barely made it through drawing the face. One look at the pumpkin guts did him in. You would have thought he was dissecting a frog. Isaac, on the other hand, carved TWO pumpkins all by himself. He did an awesome job! All the pumpkins look really good. I carved the face in Owen’s just the way he drew it- tiny. By the way, thanks to Tia for finishing up Truitt’s pumpkin for him!
KIM - Love the pumpkins. Truitt good job for trying. Isaac you did a great job too. I’m surprised that Owen did’nt draw a flag on his since that is his favorite thing to draw .
Andrea - You boys did such a fantastic job on those pumpkins, sure looks like you had a blast!!!!
JOdi Kinasewitz - THese are awesome! Looks like your pumpkin carving went a lot better than it did in the Kinasewitz household-Jack could not have cared less! He liked looking at them when they were done, but we couldn’t even get him to draw on his pumpkin. YOu have such a gift for capturing the everyday joys of life.
Kris - I feel like Truitt when I carve pumpkins:)
Melissa M - Aw, poorw Twuitt! At weast he gave it a good shot! And I\’d have to say, his \”pukey\” face is very cute!
Laura Speelman - Great job boys! Next year Truitt you will go all the way. Grandma Who?
Dana Darbyshire - This made me laugh out loud. Truitt is a man after my own heart. I don’t think he will be going into the medical profession.
