The Teacup Project
The photography forum that I belong to posed a challenge to all of our members. The challenge was to come up with an innovative project theme that forces us to shoot outside our comfort zone. Each month for the next year we are required to submit at least one photo a month that fits within our theme. I really wanted to participate in this challenge and I knew I needed focus on photographing some type of inanimate objects. After much thought, I decided my theme would be “My Good China”. When Joe and I got married we dutifully registered for “good” china which has not seen the light of day in the 12 years we have owned it. We have five place settings and six in our family- of course the pattern has long been discontinued. So, what better to do than to take my good china on some photographic adventures. I’ll be posting my progress here at least once a month.
