Chicago pics . . . finally!

My sister and I had such a great time together in Chicago!  We went kayaking on the Chicago River which was beyond incredible.  I told B I want to go kayaking every time I visit now!  My pictures don’t really even capture how awesome it really was.  I have some video to share once I find some time to edit it together.  We also took the water taxi to Chinatown for the first time.  It’s only $6 for an all day pass.  What a great way to see the city- especially at night.  Our trip back from Chinatown was just so beautiful with the city light reflecting off the river.  We didn’t have a lot of time to spend in Chinatown, but what we were able to take in was incredible.  My sister is always the ultimate tour guide.  She always plans the best trips.  As always, every meal we ate was fabulous.  I forgot to include photos of the Chicago Marathon.  We stood right at the half way point.  People were cheering so loud that from a few blocks away I thought sirens were going off.  It was really cool to watch the runners as well as the spectators.  It’s amazing how many people come out to support the runners.  What a phenomenal trip . . . can’t wait to go back!  I’m so lucky to have such a great sister:).

You create some awesome memories together and it is wonderful to see the joyful moments shared. I love the perspective of these photos — I have to agree well worth the wait!
