It’s been a very busy week for us.  Joe and I usually have to split up on the weekends in order to get the boys to their games, but this weekend we were able to take the whole family to Isaac’s basketball game.  Isaac may not be the best player on the team, but he always gives 110%.  We’ve seen him improve so much over the past few years.  This was a great game and the Hornets took home a WIN!

Lee Currie - Oh my goodness, your photos are all so crisp and clean. I can never get my gym pics to turn out. Can I ask what lens/settings you used for these wonderful photos? Go Isaac! Good for him always working hard 🙂 Congrats on the win!

Melissa - Thanks Lee! I used my 85mm 1.4 for these shots. My ISO was cranked all the way up to 1600 and my aperature was at 2.0. Indoor sports are so hard to photograph. Try using your widest aperature and your highest ISO setting. I also wait until the action is a little closer to me. HTH!
