Just one . . .

IMG_6457textureweb.jpg

I should be going to bed, but instead I’m playing.  On Friday my brother and his wife, Lori, brought my adorable little nephew, Ivan, to Shelby.  I got a chance to do a little photo session with him.  Of course I’ll be posting those photos once I get a chance to proof them.  Tonight I decided to just *play*.  I always want experiment with textures on my photos, but it’s tough to find the right image.  I’m not sure if this is the “right” photo or not, but there’s something about it I just love.  I’ve had a “yea” and a “nea” vote so far (from family and friends).  Feel free to leave your thoughts.  I’d like to get some other opinions.  Sometimes I see things through my special *Melissa* glasses :).

Andrea - Melissa I absolutely love it, I love seeing pictures with textures. I have tried playing around a little with it myself but haven’t quite got it right yet. I really think you picked a great shot to do this with!!

Jeanie DeTemple - I know very little about photography so take this for what it is worth…..I LOVE it! The image is so neat with your brother’s large hands and the baby’s tiny head…..just beautiful.
