Mel + Joe

Mel and Joe.jpg

This past weekend was Joe’s 20th High School Reunion.  I aked my mom to snap a few pics with my camera before we left.  I don’t think Joe and I have one decent photo of the two of us since our wedding pics.  My mom did a pretty darn good job.  I did a bit of cropping and editing.  I think my mom was a little nervous about taking the pics.  I told her to pick one of our eyes to focus on.  She took me very literally- the bottom right photo is full frame.  Note that my left eye is dead center :).  I actually really like the crop!  Thanks mom!

Joe’s reuinion was so much fun.  I brought my p+s, but didn’t take one photo.  I met Joe almost exactly 18 years ago through my college roomate, Nancy, who went to HS with him, so I know quite a few of his classmates.  It was so much fun catching up with everyone and meeting a few people who I have heard a lot about, but had never actually met.  My class reunion is coming up in a few weeks too.

Barb - I have to agree that the first photo is excellent. I think your mom did a wonderful job! I was great to see you all even though it was for a brief moment.

Joe Speelman - My better half (Melissa) always makes any picture beautiful. Thanks wife for being such a cute woman! Well since I don’t usually comment, I thought I would take a moment to express my appreciation for my wife. This woman does more than I could ever do. I think most who know her would agree. Even with her chaotic organization (in my mind) she is able to be great wife, mother and friend. Thanks!
