For those of you who keep up with me on Instagram and Facebook, you know that we recently returned from a pretty epic road trip. As I sift through my photos I’m going to try to do a blog post about each of our stops. I’m starting with Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas. This stop isn’t quite as incredible as the Grand Canyon, but I was still psyched to check it out. Cadillac Ranch literally sits right beside I-40 in Amarillo. I intended to pick up some cheap spray paint before we arrived, but totally forgot. Luckily, people are happy to share their half full cans when they leave so we all had a chance to make our mark- however, nothing lasts long on these cars. You can see how thick the layers of paint are on the close up photos. The kids loved climbing all over the cars and of course adding to the layers of spray paint. We were probably only here about 25-30 minutes, but it was definitely worth the stop!
