Week Five Challenge: Water!

I LOVE photographing water . . . all kinds.  I love lakes, ponds, streams, rain, pools, sprinklers, oceans and even puddles.  Your challenge this week is to photograph your kids (or someone elses’) interacting with water in some way.  You do not need a waterproof camera, just a little creativity.  Look around your community and I’m sure you’ll find some unique place to shoot.  In fact, this challenge will work in your own backyard (or bathtub).  Look for interesting angles and lighting.  You might even want to try shooting during the “golden hour” which is one hour before sunset.  Thanks to everyone who has posted photoed photos!  They have been AWESOME!!  Can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with this week!

Owen is in heaven at City Museum

This is just one of the incredible things at City Museum in St. Louis (I could literally go on forever about how incredible this place is).  As you may know, Owen LOVES all things aviation.  He BEGGED me to climb up to this plane which wasn’t easy.  He found a little soul mate and they assumed the roles of pilots . . . it was was the sweetest thing.  You may notice Owen radioing the tower in one of the shots above.  He was THRILLED to climb around the plane and even on top of it.  Such a great experience for him :).
