Such a good big brother . . .

It’s been kind of a crazy day around here, but we did manage to take all four kids to Kinds Island today (thanks Dana!).  I didn’t take very many photos, but I just love these two shots of Truitt and Elle.  Truitt has blossomed into such a wonderful big brother over the last several months. I have another photo of Truitt with his arm around Owen leading him through one of the lines at Kings Island.  It is not a great image, but when I saw Truitt taking such good care of Owen from across the way I got a little teary eyed.  I feel so fortunate that my kids get along so well and love each other so much.

On a side note, just after I took this photo they made us get off of the merry-go-round becuase Elle didn’t have any shoes on.  The poor girl sat in her stroller the entire time we were at KI- this is the only ride she (almost) got to go on.

rachel - Seriously? If you can’t walk then WHY would you need to have shoes on to ride at an amusement park? Makes no sense.

Melissa - Yeah, I was a little surprised that they made us get off. Her feet weren’t touching anything. To add insult to injury they wouldn’t let Owen ride without me (Joe was on a rollercoaster eith Isaac) so we all had to get off 🙁 .

jess korner - These photos are precious!! Such a sweet way to document such a great big brother!! Look at all of your little girl’s teeth!! And that is ridiculous about making everyone get off! At least she had lots to look at during the day…but that’s ridiculous. Beautiful photos though!

momdahn - Tru is awesome – Elle is so sweet – and some times rules are ridiculous!!!!!! Remember Truitt and the swings at Cedar Point. He rode all day and then when the shift changed the NEW guy said he was to “sh (long o)t” 🙁
